I've decided to join my friend Angela over at Free Spirit Haven and participate in Rednesday. It's about sharing your decorative touches of red where ever they may be. Mine, are in the kitchen. I have lots and lots to share but I will start with this one...
Oh yeah...I'm polka dot crazy too!
love it...so very cherry or cheery..;p
ReplyDeleteLove it! When we finally get round to doing our kitchen again I have lots of red to go in there!!!
ReplyDeleteI adore your reds! Now what is that cute thing your mugs are hanging from? I think you might need to show us more! :) Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love that vignette you made. I'm so loving red polka dots too these days.
ReplyDeleteI haven't even had a chance to do a Rednesday post to share my love of red yet...sigh...It's this getting up at 5 in the morning to have daycare children arrive at 5:30 that may be keeping me from it,lol.
I do hope sometime today I can..will come to share if I do..
By the way, could you email me, I would love to send you something that I think would be just adorable to add to this vignette. ((hugs))
Dear Bunnie,
ReplyDeleteYou have a great touch! I wouldn't know how to incorporate red into my décor! I have always been a bit "afraid" (for lack of a better term), of color! My style however, is more of the old world traditional where red may appear in muted tones in tapestries or an old painting, throw or rug.....you use it well!!!! HAVE A FUN DAY! Anita
I did it!!!! It's up!! I have to be honest with you. It was you that inspired me to get one up this early morning. I wasn't planning on doing one this week...How could I not when I noticed you put up your first REdnesday post...((hugs))
ReplyDeleteI love all your red polka dots especially the large bowl...too cute!
ReplyDeleteLove all the reds, especially the polka dots! What a wonderful vignette. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Have a great day.
Fondly,
Ann

What is it about red polka dots that makes me daydream of my mother, circa 1950-something, and a wide cirle skirt, crisp white blouse and a red neckerchief (as we called 'em), her hair in a ponytail, off to work?
ReplyDeleteOh I love your red and white kitchen! The polka dots are fab! I have red and white in my kitchen also. In fact, I have red in many places in my house. I love the idea of Rednesday! If I can, I'll post something today ~ if not, I'll definitely play next week!
ReplyDeleteYou shared and assembled all your pretty reds together very nicely for today.
ReplyDeleteI love polka dots too! I know your kitchen is lovely!

Very well done for Rednesday!
ReplyDeleteBright, bold, cheery.
Hi Bunny.
ReplyDeleteLove the textile art -- absolutely amazing. I was laughing when I saw the pic of the Heart Attack Cafe with Deep Fried Butter and Chocolate Covered Bacon. Here at the annual Minnesota State Fair (late August to early Sept) we too have legendary coronary catastrophes like deep fried cheese curds and deep fried Snickers Bars on a stick.
I know you love great garage sale buys and other finds. You might like my latest post on Rattus Scribus where I talk about some recent "fairy" lights Anita and I found. Let me know what you think of them.
Love
Ruben
BUNNY, Hey babe, how ya doing..?
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU FOR COMING TO SEE MY LINEN CLOSET...and yes, leave it to my deranged mind to use metaphores as such!!! HEHEEEEEEE, Oh I just love being a little off kilter! Are you enjoying your decorating? We are preparing for the addition...it is getting very exciting. I will be taking pictures are the work commences...stay tuned! Anita
In a world overwhelmed by tasteful neutrals, red is our psychic salvation.
