I don't want to offend anyone, but I collect Black Americana and it's all over my kitchen. I have been collecting it for at least 30 years. I have so much of it that some of it is in storage. Just little bits of red here and there
My kitchen china cabinet filled to the brim with it, including vintage linen in the drawers which I will show you all later
little buggies on the window pane
and a gift to me from someone who thinks they know me...HA!
Hello there.....you know your Black Americana looks perfect in your home!!

You really do have a nice collection of the Black Americana look. I like them and you have them displayed very well. I have some very old ones. They are very hard to find and very costly. Hang on to them.
ReplyDeleteHi Bunny, I was just thinking I haven't seen a post from you in a while. You've got a great collection going, I heard Whoopi Goldberg collects these as well.

What a great collection...I'm sure these items are hard to find...
ReplyDeleteLove it. Thanks for sharing.

Love your Black Americana. I don't think I've seen so much in one place before. When I came to Kuwait, I had a mammy doll I bought at a craft sho -- it was made from a barrel and was huge! When I decided to do away with the country look, I gave her to a friend and my husband freaked about that. Who knew he liked the thing --but it really was too big for my kitchen.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Vegas was a worldwide whirlwind trip all in one place. Fun!
Best wishes, Tammy
What a great collection! I love that cookie jar!!! I had the tin sign that is above it! And I have a set of the S&P shakers....
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun blog you have. I'm signing up to follow you.

I love your collection. I have never seen any of the pieces anywhere. I really like the way you have displayed them. The little lady with the rolling pin is my favorite. Love the sarcasm sign too. Hugs
ReplyDeleteI love your collection. It's too bad we have to be so PC that we can't just collect the things that bring joy. I just posted a black art valentine on my Rednesday post. Don't see those too often, so I had to buy it!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog and the Black Americana, too. Nice finds. ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat collection!
ReplyDeleteHey! I remember those.
