This weekend, Brenda and I ventured on up to San Juan Capistrano to check out a horse show. It was a beautiful day with blue skies and big puffy clouds. The area was just gorgeous with it's rolling green hills and bazillion dollar homes...lol
There's lots to see at these events besides horses....there's dogs
Mexican Hairless ones

And Lexi, our friend Tom's dog who does tricks
There's art, like these life size sculptures
and this gorgeous mural made from strips of torn magazine
and then there's me (on a very windy day) and Tom. He was Raquel's 1st riding instructor. He still teaches, but he's also a polo player and sells very high end saddles and YES, I did go brunette but I think it faded
and last but certainly not least or the reason we were there....the jumpers
...and if it looks like a fairy tale ending to a wonderful day....it was.
I'm just sayin'

ReplyDeleteOoh what a lovely day you had Bunny! "Puffy" is the perfect description for those clouds!
ReplyDeleteLove the art - those horse sculptures are amazing. There's something about art outdoors that I really like.
PS that "hairless" dog should be careful - he could be sued under the Trade Description Act ;)
They dont call me hairless but the dog has more on top than me. Here we just call them mangey dogs. LOL
