In a world full of frustration and craziness, all eyes will be on Will and Kate as they start their journey together and perhaps fulfill their prophecy. I for one, will not be watching as I did Will's mother's wedding so long ago and even though here, on this side of the pond, we cannot relate to all the pomp and circumstance, I appreciate this diversion from my everyday life. I wish them a lifetime of love, respect and sanity.
I hope their marriage is forever and a whole lot happier than the other royal weddings but history aint own their side. Then again I wish that for all marriages. I dont watch them and I wont be watching this one.
ReplyDeleteI wish them all the best and a long and happy life together, but I do not care to watch all the goings on about them or their wedding. Hugs
ReplyDeleteThere is already plenty of it taking over the airwaves and I can't escape it all, but I won't be watching on purpose. I wish them well.
ReplyDeletethey have been able to keep things pretty private until now I hope that they can see to leave them alone after this crazyness.

yeah---i'll see what is on the news---that will be enough for me.

Seriously? Nah. Broadcasting will constantly chime in here and there, so that should be enough. Well wishes to all. When I saw the thumbnail photo on my blog, I thought it was Raquel and her beau. Little did I know! ~ Angela
ReplyDeleteI guess I will be the only one up watching. I called in sick YEARS ago to stay home and watch when Diana and Charles got married. I love looking at people's hats to get inspiration from and of course, I want to see Kate's dress. I will be up, coffee in hand, jammies on and my fascinator atop my head with the feathers sticking out. That's normal attire for me anyway. *grin*

My oldest son announced how much is being spent on the wedding and even he thought it was a waste. I feel that most people go over the top when it comes to weddings anyways. So much money spent for one day and then who knows whether it will last or not. Most people bail when the going gets rough as if anyone ever said it was supposed to be easy. Understandably, this is a royal wedding and a bit different, but the fact that everyone wants to know every detail of the wedding and festivities is just beyond me. I've never been a celebrity watcher anyways. I saw Diana's wedding on the news. I cried when she was killed because it seemed so unfair. But this wedding has no affect on me except that Diana should be there to see her son on his happiest day. We won't be able to escape the news of it all. There will be talk for days or weeks. Have a fantastic Friday. Tammy
ReplyDeleteI may be the only person in England that didn't watch it!
ReplyDeleteNothing against them personally, they seem nice enough and I wish them well, but I don't really see the point of all the fuss and expense.
