Back to a New Normal

I'm outta work for the summer and my daughter is outta High School never to return. There is no homework or schedule and I don't have to be anywhere. This is very foreign to me as most of my life I've had to be somewhere... as a mom, a wife or a working person.

Today is the first Monday that things will get back to normal....graduation and Father's Day is behind me as is everything that was "normal" to me for the past 18 years. Therefore, I've decided to create a new normal or perhaps some of you could say a new chapter.

I will go with the flow, I will explore new territory and schedules are a thing of the past...I think I'm gonna like this....If not, you all are gonna read about it....I'm just Sayin'

  1. I have no clue what normal is, but I'm sure your new chapter will be VERY exciting! Whether it is, or isn't, I'll look forward to hearing about it.

PS: If you get bored, I'm sure OctoMom could use a hand, or two.

  2. Yep! Routine is out the window and I love it. Piddling in pajamas is my favorite thing to do. Weather is hot and mostly dusty so outdoor activities are few. Yesterday I ventured out to visit a friend and had the worst headache for the rest of the day. Ugh! Enjoy your time. I know I am. Best wishes, Tammy

  6. I woke up the other day and realized that, after retiring (early) in 2009, I've been running around anxious, busy and crazed for 2+ years because that was my "normal"...
I've been a bit of a sloth lately, tryin' to figure out just what the heck I'm makin' myself crazy for...no answers yet, but at least the pace has slowed...
As a single woman with a limited income and no relatives or friends (or partner) nearby, I do have to take the time to figure all this out, so I feel yer oddness, too, but you have so many fabulous options...hope you 'grow' into enjoying your so-called leisure time, bunny...you deserve to do some partyin'!♥
