The end is near

...the end of school or rather, the end of my work year. Yeah, I'm not really gonna miss the baggy jeans with the stripped underwear showing or the foul language or the girl with the white see thru blouse wearing the black bra. Not gonna miss the lack of deodorant or the enormous amounts of Axe cologne. Nor will I miss some one's boyfriend looking at someones girlfriend who is not a friend any more but is having a party this weekend and she wasn't invited but her boyfriend was so she's not gonna go but if he does she's gonna break up with him drama. The nutrient guidelines of cafeteria food will be but a mere thought as I can only stand so much of mac in cheese poured into a day old taco shell. And the echo of the kids shouting, "he butted" while they wait in line to obtain said lunch and me responding with, "butted is not a word...go to the end of the line", will not be heard for the next 12 weeks.

Yes, another year has come and gone and in a blink of an eye soon enough, these heathen children will rule the earth ...I'm just sayin'

  2. I can honestly say that the only thing about summer vacation that is enjoyable is not having to crawl through 10 or 12 blocks marked 15 mph an hour during school hours...

  4. I am very happy for the break you will be getting, however, your loss is my gain...8 weeks with four kids complaining "I'm bored!"

  6. I tell ya, I really have a hard time with bratty kids and we have a bunch of them at our school. I got a spanking at school in 4th grade with a wooden paddle and it didn't hurt me. There's a bunch of kids who could use a paddling. Come to think of it, probably some adults too. But then, they might like paddling. Ha! :/ Thanks for your comment about Sweet Kitty. I forgot how hard it is to lose a furbaby especially when you have to make the decision to euthanize. :( Only two more work days for me. woohoo! Best wishes, Tammy

I love your witty take on school and the new look of your blog.

I showed my daughter your post about the homeless guy and her mouth just flew wide open and then said, "I don't doubt it one bit!"
Being from Austin she sees these guys all the time.
    Have a wonderful week
