New Fleece on Life

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We are proud to introduce the newest addition to our family. He came to us on St. Paddy's Day, therefore, his name is Cormac the magnificent. He's a little skittish still and he eats like no tomorrow, but Rogue likes him....she better, they're neighbors! They're like sheeps passing in the night, hope he doesn't turn into little sheep of horrors and let's hope for lots of sheep thrills. Ok, I'll stop before I have to go on the lamb. Anyways....

So the other day I sang to him and I taught a couple of the FFA kids this song...

Mares eat oats and does eat oats and little lambs eat ivy, a kid'll eat ivy too, wouldn't you? (sing it fast)

Yeah, I know I'm strange but I'd like to think I'm expanding narrow minds...BTW, not only do my daughters know this song, but my 3 squirrely grandson sing it too! Thanks for mutton...

  8. Gee thanks... now I'll be singing that all day long.

I'm looking at you sidebar. It has all my favs from my 50's childhood.

I recently bought a hula hoop at WalMart... thinking I would use it to get my waist back. I used to be a champ at it... now I can't get it to go around once!

    Talk to you soon ;)

  10. I just love your Etch a Sketch banner and new background. How fun! Where do you find all this blog stuff? Okay, that song -- never, ever heard it before in my life. Your little lamb isn't so little anymore. I can look around me at any given time and find chicken, sheep and goats wandering around -- no residential restrictions in this country. :) HAve a great day Bunny dear! Tammy

  11. Ahhhh so cute! I love that song....brings back some memories. Of course we sang as kids too. I can't believe some have never heard of it. But that's the difference between growing up in the city and the country. I guess.
