What happend

to my little girl that ran around the house taking off all her clothes? The one that climbed trees like a monkey and would sing the clean up song when it was time to put things away. The little girl who told me that she would live with me forever and told Eric she would marry him. Who sat in my lap till age 11 and was determined to use chop stick at the age of 4...and did. This same little one who slept in her crib till age 3 because as she put it "it's safer mommy so I won't fall out" and the little girl who told me that boys have coodies.

WELL! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?

  2. Hmmm..taking off yer duds in your early years is probably a universal..I was famous for it at 2-3..and in public, in the middle of downtown L.A. I know you are secretly grateful for those small miracles, bunny..

  5. She is a lovely girl.

I've had to use the "I have a gun, 5 acres, and a shovel" story a few times to get my point across.

Her new serious Beau got the "if something happens to my baby your life wont be worth much". I think that worked.

  6. I agree with Simply Suthern and if you don't have a gun... get one, quick! And remember, Suthern has 5 acres.

  9. Raquel is absolutely gorgeous and she looks so happy with her beau and checking out possible collages. What a wonderful time of her life! I bet she's as smart as she is beautiful and will choose a great collage and the best one for her.
Poor mom! This is the beginning of the cutting of the apron strings and a hard time for you.
Just keep the faith that that you raised her well and know that she'll fly perfectly.

  10. BUNNY!!! Your offer to accomodate us on our next visit is accepted! Wasn't that a great visit? And you frequent the circle at Old Orange? I love that place and since my departure back in 1986, I have often dreamt of returning there...and I did. Have a wonderful fourth of July dearest...Anita

  13. Yep, I'm there with you Bunny. My 14-1/2 year old is starting to go through some changes that leaves me asking the question How did this happen? Of course, I realize he has to grow up, so the real question is, how did I get to be the age I am at to be able to have a kid that's becoming a young man. Ha!

Your daughter is naturally gorgeous and will do well in life. She's already off to a great start. Who has direction in life at that age? Best wishes for a great holiday weekend. :) Tammy
