Charmed I'm sure

Last summer I was dreaming and fixating like I usually do about a Vespa, you know, that motorcycle thingy that gorgeous Europeans tool around in and greet each other with "Ciao Bella" while balancing a bottle of vino in one hand and a glass of it in the other. See...fixating, but in my world, if I talk about it and someone listens....perhaps it'll come true...which happened today.

Imagine my surprise when I retrieved the mail and there was a Vespa in it...Yep, that's right...a Vespa Charm that is. Brenda, my BFF sent me a gorgeous and whimsical charm of a girl (insert a bunny pic) riding one...and it's green, just like I imagined...

I've been obsessing about where or what I'm going to do with it. I'm thinking Necklace but then again...I want to display it in my house somewhere. In any case...it's perfect AND...the girl is wearing red polka dots...another obsession..Some people just get me.

Brenda you rock!...I'm just sayin'

  1. Oh now that is cool! These things were all over Paris; they are cute, but quite noisy!!!

    Have a fun day, Bunny!

  3. A scooter is one of my (many) fantasies too-wouldn't it be beyond cool?

The polka dots were just the right touch!

My arm is better but I am not pushing it although I am itching to getting back to creating.

  5. What a perfect gift for you! I wouldn't mind riding on the back of a Vespa with a bottle in one hand and a glass in the other. Is there room for two? So lovely to receive unexpected surprises! I'm always in for a surprise when I come to visit you because you KEEP changing your blog up. :) How do you do it? I'm happy to just be able to post every day. I keep saying I will change pics on my sidebar up, but haven't even done that in forever. Oh well! Have a great day Bunny! Oh, I deleted you and then added you again and your blog still shows up as a little dot -- doesn't show your blog name. I can't figure it out. At least I know where to find you. Ciao Bella! Tammy

  7. Oh my I love it too.... I want one...both a real one and a charm just like that.
I almost had my hubby convinced to buy me a vespa about a year or two ago. There was a couple of used ones for sale. I wanted it sooooo bad....but we are way too practical. I got a really cool convertible instead. Go figure he spent way more money on the car.

  9. The Vespa is a cute mode of transportation. Once you visit Europe and need to get around or park, you understand why there are so many of them. What a great gift from your friend. Isn't it nice when people just "get" you :)

Thanks for stopping by for a visit and your great comment on my room. It is always great to make new friends.

    Have a wonderful weekend.
