These are my veggies. I grew them. This year just happened to be the best that I've grown. I grow my garden in huge pots because all the trees in my yard have shallow roots and there is no room...so I use pots. As you can see, it's doable. They ripen every few days so it really works out...
I'm happy :p)
~ next year I'm thinking of planting horseradish too ~
That tomato looks GOOD! Now, grow some buffalo Mozzarella, some basil, and an olive tree, and I'll be over for lunch!! Yum!
ReplyDeleteYou actually grew those from a pot? Wow. Another green thumb joins the family. Who knew? Congrats. But you're hooked now. You will forever look with disdain upon store tomatoes. And the trick with bell peppers is to not pick them until the first hint of red (or yellow). That's when you've got a really ripe green bell pepper. But don't wait too long after that, or you'll have a red (or yellow) bell pepper. But that's OK too, 'cause it's just gets sweeter.

ReplyDeleteWell, that gives me hope. I'm just starting to see my plants breaking through. So far the Corn and cilantro are running neck and neck. I also see some lettuce coming in but I'm not sure how that'll work out. I don't know anyone who grows lettuce to ask. Do you?
